Out & About
Phew, what a week! We’ve finally unpacked from Outdoor Retailer, but we’re still riding the high from being there!! It was inspiring to be among so many incredible people who have created awesome products...and pretty pleasing that many of them had already heard of us! Super-ambassador Lindsey Brown was there with us to spread the Lily Love, and Ambassador Elite Krissy Moehl also came by to say “hi”. We made lots of new contacts (woot-woot!) and even more new friends. One woman came by for her first pair of compression socks...and came back for more after a couple hours of walking, haha! The event was huge and the opportunity was profound--we’re thrilled to have been there!!
3,000 half marathon runners + amazing views (including bald eagle sightings!) made for a pretty fantastic expo experience. We educated tons of runners on the benefits of compression. Many women loved the feminine touches offered in Lily Trotters' designs and said we were just the compression sock they've been dreaming about! We're calling this a 'win' and will be planning our next adventure with Vacation Races soon. Stay tuned!
Join Lily Trotters and Vacation Races in the National Park series, we’re racing through nine states and eleven spectacular U.S. National Parks in the months ahead. Our team of POWER CHICKS will be posting updates on Instagram along the trail! With the goal of promoting discovery, exploration, health, natural beauty, stewardship, well-being and creating memories, Vacation Races has partnered with the National Park Foundation to inspire runners worldwide to enjoy these national treasures. The race provides runners the experience of a lifetime with a series of events and challenges, including the option to go hiking and camping. A significant portion of each runner’s registration fees are contributed to the National Park Foundation.

Team Lily Trotters had a great time in Salt Lake City, Utah at this year's Outdoor Retailer Winter Market event. Retailers from across the globe had the opportunity to learn about the benefits of compression and feel Lily Trotters compression socks. We are excited by the buzz being generated about what makes Lily Trotters different (hint: our UNIQUE DESIGNS, luxurious yarns, easy on and easy off weave, signature compression technology AND we are USA made!).
We also got a lot of inspiration from the brands that are leading the way in the performance industry complete with multi-level booths, ice-climbing demos, food & drink and live music. Fun!
We're looking forward to the day when Lily Trotters has a stronger presence at these shows...though we think we'll offer free foot massages! What do you think?!
Almost forgot to mention, one lucky retailer received 30 FREE PAIRS of Lily Trotters compression socks to go home and sell...that's a $1500 value! All-in-all, this event was a HUGE success. Can't wait til next year!
Hello Orlando! We learned SO much, met great people, witness records get shattered and even got some exercise in...Lily Trotters' Chief Strategist for Sales and Marketing, Kim Gross, ran the Sunrise Indie 5k at Epcot early Thursday morning and the momentum continued through the day as she wo-manned a booth the 'The Running Event 2016.'
It's been a lot of fun (and a lot of work) introducing our new brand of compression socks to the running community. We will definitely be back next year! Here's to a fun few days of sun, sales and miles.
